Solarrus REC Trade is an easy and convenient way for residential and commercial solar energy generators to register the output of their solar system and qualify for Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). When using Solarrus REC Trade you will be provided with excellent service and have the ability to sell your RECs for income. Our approach is to partner with our clients, educate them and help facilitate their transactions.

We are a WREGIS (Western Renewable Energy Generation Information Systems) aggregator and will register your RECs for you, then act as the Account Holder on your behalf. As system owner you will maintain ownership rights and discretion over your RECs.

California System Owners

Your solar system produces Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) that have monetary value and can be sold for income. One REC is created for every 1 MW (or 1,000 kWh) of energy generated. Once you are registered you will start accruing RECs. There is no cost and no risk for getting registered, but the sooner you register the sooner you will start accruing RECs.
